Where Collaborative Training Becomes Confident Practice

The Ļć½¶Šć School of Pharmacy’s Interprofessional Education (IPE) program prepares future pharmacists to succeed in today’s interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

Through our PharmD Interprofessional Education (IPE) program, you’ll collaborate with students from , , and the Ļć½¶Šć Physician Assistant Program across multiple semesters, building the teamwork, communication skills, and clinical confidence today’s healthcare environments demand.

Beyond the classroom, IPE at Ļć½¶Šć extends into the community. Throughout all four years, students have opportunities to serve locally and internationally, putting collaborative, patient-centered care into practice where it matters most.

Don’t Just Learn Pharmacy — Learn to Lead.

At Ļć½¶Šć, Interprofessional Education (IPE) helps you build the confidence to lead within today’s healthcare teams. Through simulations, case-based learning, and service experiences, you’ll strengthen your clinical decision-making, communication, and leadership skills while learning to collaborate across disciplines.

By graduation, you’ll be prepared to contribute immediately in hospitals, clinics, community pharmacies, and other patient-centered care settings where teamwork drives outcomes.

What Employers Notice. What Patients Feel.

Ļć½¶ŠćSP graduates enter the workforce knowing how to do something many new pharmacists have to learn on the job: work as a real member of a healthcare team. Through years of structured IPE experiences, our students build the skills, clinical confidence, and professional relationships that employers notice — and patients feel.
