Ï㽶Ðã

Pharmacy degree program at Ï㽶Ðã School of Pharmacy.

A message from the Dean of Pharmacy

Headshot of Giuseppe Gumina

Welcome to Ï㽶Ðã School of Pharmacy.

Pharmacy is one of the most dynamic and essential professions in healthcare today — and Ï㽶Ðã School of Pharmacy is where exceptional pharmacists are made.

As a teaching-focused, student-centered program, we are passionate about helping our students realize their full potential and develop into competent and compassionate professionals.

Our culture is based on family values, respect, and commitment to service. Our small class sizes mean increased access to faculty and resources, increased personalized attention to each student, and increased opportunities for professional and leadership development. We do not simply advise our students; we mentor them from orientation week through graduation and beyond. The quality of our program translates into outstanding outcomes, including our most recent, sixth-in-the-nation, MPJE first-time pass rate

Whether you are a prospective student, a parent, one of our alumni, or a healthcare professional, I invite you to visit our beautiful campus, meet our talented students and exceptional faculty, and discover (or rediscover) all that makes us one of the premier pharmacy programs in the nation!

Sincerely yours,
Giuseppe Gumina, Ph.D.

Values

We are grounded in a culture of family, respect, and service. Through teamwork and collaboration, we support and challenge one another to become the best versions of ourselves. We recognize that differences will exist, and we commit to treating one another with dignity and respect in every interaction. At our core is a deep commitment to service — to the success of our colleagues, our students, and the pharmacy profession — and, above all, to the welfare of humanity and the communities we are called to serve.

Pillars for SuccesS

We prepare students to be forward-thinking practitioners through an inclusive, collaborative learning environment that bridges professional and interprofessional practice. By expanding mentoring, networking, and collaborative learning opportunities, we equip graduates to lead, innovate, and serve across disciplines. We strengthen academic support from pre-matriculation through graduation so every student has the foundation to succeed. Through areas of concentration, dual-degree options, certificate programs, and entrepreneurial competitions that address healthcare disparities and access, we create pathways for students to deepen their expertise, broaden their impact, and drive meaningful change in health care.

We cultivate a culture of collaboration, respect, and purposeful service — one that places the well-being of students, employees, and stakeholders at the center of every decision. Our commitment to “outrageous service” means recognizing accomplishments, strengthening two-way communication, and building a connected community where people feel valued and supported. We pursue operational excellence without compromising program quality, and we invest in career development that helps every member of our community thrive — personally and professionally.
