PharmD program students looks at a formula with Dr. Gumina.

Shaping The Next Generation of pharmacists

Your support helps prepare students to become confident, compassionate pharmacists ready to serve their communities. Through hands-on learning and real-world experiences, they gain the skills and perspective needed to make a meaningful impact in patients’ lives.

Every gift strengthens that journey—expanding opportunities, supporting student success, and helping ensure our graduates are ready to meet the evolving needs of healthcare.

Both preceptors treated me like a practicing pharmacist and consistently challenged me to perform at the top of my ability. They pushed me to think critically, make clinical recommendations, and take ownership of patient care rather than simply observe.

A Role That Goes Beyond Supervision

Preceptors are mentors, teachers, and role models. During experiential rotations, you work closely with students to guide clinical decision-making, support skill development, and provide meaningful feedback in real practice settings.

Your influence helps bridge the gap between classroom learning and patient care — shaping not just what students know, but how they practice.
