Become an Internship Supervisor
Academic Internships at Ïã½¶Ðã are a collaborative effort between student interns, internship supervisors, faculty, and staff members. These experiences are specifically designed to provide relevant, marketable experience for the student.
Employers’ Responsibilities: 
- Provide on-the-job training and experiences that develop transferable and field-specific skills
- Conduct an orientation with new interns at the start of each term to establish clear expectations
- Provide mid-point evaluations and final reviews of student performance
- Complete an online survey each semester offering feedback on student career-readiness and skill development
- Offer some flexibility to align internship hours with the academic grading period
- Ideally, positions should be paid. Unpaid internships are acceptable only for nonprofit organizations, professional shadowing experiences, or circumstances where student learning significantly outweighs employer benefit
- All internships must demonstrate the learning outcomes established during registration
