Pharmacy school is challenging — but it’s also a time to build relationships, explore your professional passions, and develop your leadership identity. Getting involved helps you connect with classmates, expand your understanding of pharmacy practice, and prepare for a fulfilling career.

Below you’ll find descriptions of the pharmacy-specific organizations and how each one supports your growth, service, and professional development.

The Pharmacy Honor Council is a student-led body committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity across the professional program. Composed of at least 20 student members representing each class year, the Council plays a vital role in upholding the values that define a Ïã½¶Ðã pharmacist — from the first professional year through graduation. The Pharmacy Student Governance Association (PSGA) represents the voice of student pharmacists at Ïã½¶Ðã. The organization helps shape student life, supports collaboration across organizations, and works with faculty and administration to enhance the pharmacy school experience.

APhA-ASP is the student branch of the nation’s largest pharmacist organization. The chapter helps student pharmacists grow as healthcare professionals through patient care initiatives, leadership development, and national networking opportunities.

CPFI provides a community for students who want to integrate their faith with their future careers in pharmacy. Members gather for fellowship, service, and discussions on how faith can guide professional practice.

NCPA focuses on independent and community pharmacy practice. Students gain insight into pharmacy ownership, entrepreneurship, and the vital role community pharmacists play in patient care.

Phi Lambda Sigma honors pharmacy students who demonstrate strong leadership potential. Members work to inspire leadership within the profession and mentor future pharmacists.

Rho Chi is the national honor society for pharmacy students, recognizing academic excellence and leadership. Membership reflects outstanding achievement in pharmacy education.

SNPhA is dedicated to serving underserved communities and promoting diversity in healthcare. Members work to improve health equity through outreach, education, and service.

The Student Society of Health-System Pharmacists (SSHP) helps students learn about pharmacy careers in hospitals and integrated health systems. Through professional development, networking, and service opportunities, members gain insight into clinical practice and the credentials needed to pursue careers in institutional pharmacy settings.
