George Hopkins 2026
The Model UN team received two delegation awards for outstanding position papers representing Japan and Dominican Republic and one individual award for best delegate in the General Assembly representing Dominican Republic. The individual awardees are Brennan Carroll and Michael Cody, who worked on resolutions to protect journalists and reduce electronic waste. The delegation awards are evaluated based on the overall performance of nine delegates representing Japan and six delegates representing Dominican Republic. George Hopkins, class of 2026, and Becca King, class of 2027, served as head delegates. The Model UN team is sponsored by the Political Science department and advised by Dr. David Liu.
