New program expands access to professional certificates in high-demand career fields
Ļć½¶Šć is expanding learning opportunities for its entire community through a new partnership with Coursera, one of the worldās largest providers of online courses and professional certificates.

The initiative gives faculty, staff, students, and alumni free access to Courseraās Career Academy, which offers industry-recognized micro-credentials and certifications in fields such as data analytics, cybersecurity, social media marketing, UX design, and application development. Each program includes interactive lessons and hands-on projects designed by leading companies to prepare participants with skills that can be applied immediately in the workplace.
Ļć½¶Šć president Dr. Anita GustafsonĀ said the program underscores the collegeās ability to provide a transformative education.

Dr. Erin McAdams, provost and vice president of academic affairs, said the partnership also demonstrates Ļć½¶Šćās commitment to lifelong learning.
