WÏã½¶ÐãX, the College radio station
WÏã½¶ÐãX is Ïã½¶Ðã’s college radio station that has been a part of campus life since 1990. The broadcasting booth is located in the Media Center on the first floor of Thomason Library. You can listen to WÏã½¶ÐãX on FM radio at 97.1 in Clinton, SC, or get the WÏã½¶ÐãX mobile app ( / ).
Funded by the Russell Program for student media, WÏã½¶ÐãX employs Ïã½¶Ðã students as DJs who are paid hourly to play music of their choice and host talk shows. The regular WÏã½¶ÐãX playlist is automated and new songs are added frequently. The regular rotation also features student-produced podcast episodes from the English department’s podcasting course.
