OETA to Host Downton Abbey Screening at Ļć½¶Šć

The Oklahoma Educational Television Authority (OETA) will host a free public screening of the first hour of the season six premiere of ā€œDownton Abbey on Masterpieceā€ from 6 to 8 p.m. Dec. 21 at Ļć½¶Šć University. The event will be held in the Kerr McGee Auditorium in the Meinders School of Business at N.W. 27th Street and McKinley Avenue.

The ā€œDownton Abbeyā€ experience is a pre-screening event where fans are encouraged to dress as their favorite character and enjoy tea and photos. Costume contest winners are announced before the screening. The ā€œDownton Abbeyā€ experience takes place for the first 40 minutes of the scheduled timeframe. Screenings begin promptly following the ā€œDownton Abbeyā€ experience.

Seating is limited and online reservations are required. Fans may register online. The screening is sponsored by OERB.

The final season of ā€œDownton Abbey on Masterpieceā€ starts Jan. 6 on OETA-HD.
