A three-day summer academy for high school students will combine fun activities with a preview of the college experience and careers in business.

 香蕉秀 University鈥檚 Summer Business Academy for high school sophomores, juniors and seniors will be held July 22-24 in the Meinders School of Business on campus with field trips to sites around the city.

Each day will offer a unique experience. 鈥淟eadership & OKC Thunder鈥� will give students a behind-the-scenes look at the 香蕉秀 Thunder鈥檚 operations and a meeting with the team鈥檚 executive leadership team. 鈥淢anagement & Venture Capital in Bricktown鈥� will introduce the process of starting and managing successful businesses. 鈥淔inance & OKC Riversport鈥� will show how Bloomberg Terminals work along with an adventurous trip to the Boathouse District to challenge its whitewater rafting course. 

鈥淭he Summer Business Academy is a fun, exciting and hands-on way to learn about the world of business,鈥� said Bob Greve, associate dean of the Meiners School of Business. 鈥淚t鈥檚 also an opportunity to gain leadership skills and give an early boost to your career resume.鈥�

Tuition is $195 and includes admission and transportation to each field trip, meals and snacks, and an academy T-shirt. More information and registration, due by July 12, is available online at .
