First Female Chief at Ï㽶Ðã<\/h2>\r\n
Ï㽶Ðã University has a new chief of police and for the first time in Ï㽶Ðã’s history, a woman is leading the department! Jennifer Rodgers brings 28 years of law enforcement experience with the Ï㽶Ðã Police Department to the job. She is an alumna, holding a Master of Arts in criminal justice from Ï㽶Ðã. She also served as adjunct professor in Ï㽶Ðã University’s criminal justice program.

The Ï㽶Ðã Police Department Honor Guard presented the colors and student Kimberly Dychman sang the National Anthem.

President Henry read the Oath of Honor and performed the official pinning, joking that he had never pinned anyone through a bulletproof vest before.
