Honors Cohorts 2025-2016
Honors Student Council
The Honors Student Council, commonly referred to as HSC, is a student-led organization affiliated with the Honors Program. We aim to provide a positive, leading and learning environment by advocating for Honors students and emphasizing the ideals of servant leadership, social prosperity, and academic excellence.
All active members of the University Honors Program are considered members of the Honors Student Council and are encouraged to participate. The Honors Student Council holds monthly events designed to promote social community. Though these events are intended for Honors students, anyone from the general Ογ½ΆΠγ University general student body is welcome to attend. National Collegiate Honors Council
The National Collegiate Honors Council (NCHC) is committed to Professional Development, Research, and Honors Program Advocacy. NCHC builds awareness on how each honors program creates value for its respective institution.
The annual NCHC conference is an opportunity for students to showcase their accomplishments on a nation-wide scale. It serves as a place for students and faculty alike to meet and gather valuable knowledge, resources, and connections to improve Honors communities. Each year, a series of interdisciplinary research panels, discussions, and student poster sessions are held to help gain insights and resources on how to better these programs.
Annual participation in the NCHC conference has been a cornerstone of Ογ½ΆΠγ's Honors Program for decades.
